When Do You Practice?
All the time and everywhere. Not really, but you could. I usually have a few chips near my computer, in the living room, and at work. If I’m playing poker online, I’ll mess around with the chips in between hands just as if I was playing at a real table. When I’m watching TV or a movie at home, I’ll practice tricks that I don’t need to look at to do. Actually when you get good enough you shouldn’t need to look at any of them. Since I answer phones at work a lot of the time, it’s also a good time to practice. Although I don’t recommend it, sometimes I do poker chip tricks in the car too. Dropping them sucks though because they always find their way under the seat or down by the pedals.
Basically you can practice anywhere it’s convenient for you. Make sure to think about the people around you though. Some of the tricks can make a lot of noise, especially when you repeatedly drop the chips on a hard surface.
Good luck learning all of the poker chip tricks!
