Poker Chip Pullover

I don’t recall having seen this trick done in any of the poker episodes on TV, but I’ve seen it quite a few times at the poker table in casinos. Nothing flashy or exciting, but it’s the easiest poker chip trick you can find.

Before you begin

Trick Difficulty - 1
Chips needed - 2 or more

Tutorial

Places the chips in a single stack on the table. Places your fingers around the stack so the thumb and index finger are on one side of the stack and the other three fingers are on the opposite side.

Lift half of the stack up with all of your fingers, moving it to the side held by the middle, ring, and pinky fingers. As you drop it onto the table, reach back to what’s left of the original stack with your thumb and index finger. Pick up this stack with the two fingers and place it on top of the stack that was moved. Repeat the process over and over. Pretty exciting hey?

If you find this trick difficult, I suggest not even trying any of the other tricks.

This trick is neat with some variations. I use 5 chips, pull 3 over, then one, and flip the 5th. It looks very cool when you do it fast.

Can anyone comment on how to do this trick with the bottom chip twirl variation. Seen in recent WPT events, the begin to do the pullover, but flip the bottom chip of the bottom stack before putting it on top. Makes the trick look alot more difficult.

This trick took me about 5 minutes to learn, the key is holding on the the top half without your thumb. Your mind tries to use your thumb, you just have to overcome the instinct and use only the middle ring and pinky

Extremely easy and the statement above is absoloutly correct… If you can’t do this, you are either to be hopeless, or physically disabled in one asspect or another. Fun to do, I think, and simple enough for even a beginer like myself!
