Pickover
As far as I know, I made this trick up. I’ve never seen it done on TV or anywhere else. I was messing around with chips in my car on the way home from work one day and stumbled across this new trick. It’s not the easiest of tricks because I can’t even do it very good and I made it up.
Before you begin
Trick Difficulty - 2
Chips needed - 4 or 5
Tutorial
Start with the chips in between your middle and ring fingers so that hey are perpendicular to the fingers.
The pressure applied by your fingers needs to be significant to hold the chips in place because there isn’t a finger in the back supporting them.
Using your thumb, roll the chip closest to the finger tips up onto the middle finger a little bit. Place your index finger right next to the middle finger and then continue to roll the chip up onto the index finger. Once you have a grip on the chip with your thumb and index finger, raise the chip up over the line of chips.
Make sure to lift the chip high enough so that it does not brush up against the line of chips, otherwise it will twist and you will not be able to replace the chip in line.
Once the chip is high enough, pull it in towards your palm and then drop it in place behind the line of chips. When the chip is in place, secure it by adjusting your grip with the middle and ring fingers.
What makes this trick difficult is the fact that you are only holding the line of chips with two fingers. It is also hard to pick the chip up high enough to get over the top of the other chips.

i figured this trick out on my own a long time ago too. I use anywhere from 2 to 8 chips. Once you get really good you can move 2 or three chips at a time from the front and back

I think everyone is right. After trying the trick a little more, I’m changing it to a level 2.

First, thanks for all the great stuff on the site. It’s very well setup and clear…
I just started doing tricks in the last week and I found this to be the easiest one of all. I got it immediately, so I’m not sure this would really be Level 3 trick. But thanks for it anyway!

I have done a version of this with 3 chips, while doing the twirl. Instead of twirling the chip, I drop middle chip out and rotate it either to the front or the back. It adds an extra something to when you only have three chips in your hand.

I also found this to be the easiest trick I tried, accomplishing it on the third try. I give the difficulty a 1 or 2. Not nearly as hard as the shuffle.

For some reason I found this trick really easy. Maybe its because I have big hands or something, but I tried it with just 2 chips and I can keep it going fairly easily.

There is a variation of this trick I made up where you take 6 chips and pullover overy other chip and move them over one slot. So you take chips 1 3 and 5 and move them over so they become 2 4 and 6.
It’s very hard to pick out the right chips without “cheating”.
