Swivel Display
The Swivel Display, by Tom Haze, is a poker chip trick I’ve never seen done anywhere else.
Tutorial
Stack the chips and hold them in right hand “Biddle grip”. Biddle grip is with your thumb and with your middle - finger, from above. You should move your index out of the way. You want to hold it very deep, so when you start cutting the first chip, it WON’T slide against the fingernail of your right hand middle finger.
How to cut: When you have all 3 chips in the right grip, you use your left thumb to cut off 2 chips. You place the pad of your thumb against the chips, break off 2 chips, and start cutting them clockwise, using your right middle finger as a pivot point, slide them all the way to the other side of your middle finger (chips also slide along your thumb).
Next, your going to cut the next chip with either your middle or your index finger of the left hand. Place it on about 12 to 1 ‘o clock on the chip, break it off, and this time you use your thumb as a pivot point. Now the display is done, and for a nice extra effect, you can spin the first chip with your right hand middle finger.
If you do this trick with 4 chips, it’s almost the same. You cut of 3 chips in beginning, pivoting on your right hand middle finger. Then your going to cut off one with your index finger. Now you have the display as before, but there are 2 chips in the middle. Then you use your middle or ring finger (depending on which finger you used before) to cut the fourth chip off. Then the display is ready, and you can spin the first chip again.
