Poker Chip Mexican Jumping Chip

Mexican Jumping Chip by Benji “The Ace” Jaimes - Make a chip “jump” from one stack of chips to another.

Tutorial

First you get a stack of about 8 chips. Two different colors looks better and is highly recommended. Then you pick up half the stack (which is 4). As you pick up the fourth chip grab the chip under it (5th chip) and slide it a little less that half way over the stack. Then as you bring the other stack of 4 chips to the right slam down on the poker chip which is hanging off of the stack still on the table. The chip will flip onto the 4 chip stack which you just slammed down. This will take awhile to practice in order to develop how hard you should hit it. It also depends on how many chips you have (if using more than 8 total poker chips).

Tip
To make it look better do this trick after chip shuffling or before.

hey im foolin around with this trick, im sure im not the first to think of it but try slpiting 2 stacks of 5 chips (10 in total) take 6 in ur hand.. then of the 8 in ur hand slide 2 chips about 1/4 ways off the 2 remaning chips on the table…therefore leaving u with 4 in ur hand & 4 on the table.. now i like to come down slightly diagonal to hit the edge of the 2 chips that are slightly (i fine it easyer)that should leave you with a catapult effect when the 2 chips are catapulted on the high stack of 6 chips to make it 8 lol
between u and me .. i call it the CATAPULT ouuuu.. lol
have fun dont be sad if you cant get it to work…

If u do the same thing but with 5 chips and grab 2 chips slide the third one about half way slam it down and it should make a little house formation it should end up with 2 chips on the sides and 1 chip on top. i call it the palace

If you see someone at a 100 NL table at Hollywood Park doing this exact trick (jump and shuffle) and wearing a PokerStars jacket — say hello! It’s probably me.

I have $10 worth of Hollywood Park 50 cent chips, which I prefer because they are light enough that I don’t cramp up after hours of shuffling. I still have to switch hands periodically, and I oddly seem to do these tricks slightly better with the left hand (even though I am right-handed), but I can pretty well do either interchangeably. They’re clay composite and most of them are all beat up, but that’s ok, when I wear them out I can just cash them in and get more. :)

i think it is better by lifting the top 3 chips and moving the 4th half way so the stacks end up even after the trick leaving the perfect opportunity to shuffle, nice benji “the ace” jaimes, but u left out the hey to ur poker buddies!
