Poker Chip What Would You Like To See?

Can you do something cool with poker chips? What poker chip tricks that are not in the site’s current list of tricks would you like to see added? Pick anything you’ve seen on TV or heard about and leave a comment with your thoughts/ideas. I need a new trick to tackle and with enough feedback, you might get your choice as my selection.

    Nin,
I’ve never seen a 3 stack shuffle performed. If you could provide a video or tutorial from somewhere I’d love to see it.

Any chance you can do the 3 stack shuffle trick??

I’ve been looking everywhere on how to see this but its basically, 3 stacks shuffled into one big pile.

I have another good trick, it’s a variation of the butterfly. When the trick is over you’ll have a chip in between your pinky and thumb as well as the rest. You start off with five chips and you split them, like in the butterfly, three in between your index and thumb, and two in between your ring and pinky. Then you bring your middle finger through, as you would for the butterfly, leaving one chip in between your pinky and ring, ring and middle, middle and index, but two in between your index and thumb. After this you roll the outside chip of the two, in between your thumb and pinky (This may take some practice) and grab it making a sweet trick in the end.

    Hey,

I work in the Bodog Poker call center, so we get a chance to play with chips on and off throughout the day when things are slow. One of my coworkers can do the air shuffle that Wyatt mentioned quite well, I’ll see if I can convince him to send in a video. Most of us around the office know the site fairly well

Another possible is a variation I do on the Phil Ivey Stepup where you begin as usual grabbing the top few chips, transferring them to your pinky and middle fingers. Then instead of grabbing a few more, I grab the rest of the chips one by one and stack them on the others until im holding the whole stack of 10 between my pinky and ring fingers. Put it down, repeat.

It’s pretty simple, but it’s a nifty little variation that looks alright when you get doing it faster.

    Wyatt,
Thanks for the suggestion. That’s a trick I’ve tried a couple of times, but never spent any real time on. I’ll add it to my to do list.

I’d like to see this one, it doesn’t have a name, I call it the air shuffle. I’ve seen it on a different video. You have one huge stack of about 10 or more, then about 5 in your hand. You shuffle the 5 in your hand with the top 5 in the big stack.

I believe you’re referring to the chip roll.

I want to learn the trick where you start off holding a stack of chips in one hand so that the line going from the top of the stack to the bottom of it would be parallel to the top of the table. Then you release the chips in order from the front to the back so they roll across the table to your other hand.

I’m not quite sure what you mean…

And I assume you mean at the Card Tricks site, is that right?
